What is Volcano UltraMarathon Green?

The Volcano UltraMarathon Green Foundation is not only a sporting event, but also a means by which to promote actions in the medium through which the test runs. We believe in the need to help and contribute to maintain our space and the natural environment in perfect condition and respecting both fauna and flora.

Therefore, the organization will contribute with an economic contribution to continue fostering actions through Costa Rican organizations. For this first edition we will work intensely with “Guardians of Nature” to give greater visibility to this movement where children and nature are its two main pillars.

During the race the entire organization, as well as the runners, will maintain responsible actions with the environment, eliminating and controlling the waste generated. In all the camps, a waste 0 device will be maintained to counteract our passage through areas of great environmental value. In the technical talk, all runners will know more details of this beautiful movement so that respect and care for the medium through which the race will run.
