  • Backpack minimum capacity 20l x1
  • Sleeping bag (+13 – 5 comfort rating) x1
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear for the race
  • Insect repellent x1
  • Minimum 2.5l of water capacity
  • Waterproof bag for clothes and other items when crossing rivers x 1
  • Electrolyte salts: 6 stages x 15 = 90
  • 2,000 calories per day minimum x 7 = 14,000 calories
  • Cyalume chemlight or similar x2
  • 20 Water Purification Tablets x1 box, or Iodine Liquid x1 bottle
  • Headlamp and complete set of spare batteries x1
  • Safety pins x8
  • Compass x1
  • Survival whistle x1
  • Metal edged knife x1
  • Thermal blanket x1
  • Suncream x 1
  • Spoon or eating utensil x 1
  • Lightweight clothing for Camp 5 in the cold-weather bag (it is collected in the technical talk and delivered the night of Camp 5). Second long cape and hat recommended.

If any of these items are lacking, the race bib will not be delivered.

Travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage
